The Department of Accounting and Audit of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, Romania

is pleased to invite you to the 2nd edition of the International Conference „Accounting and Auditing Perspectives” (AAP 2014), to be held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administrationof Timisoara, on October 16 – 18, 2014.

The conference is meant to create a stronger connection between research and practice in the field of accounting and audit, as well as to build a discussion forum on topics of great interest for both academics and practitioners.

Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical contributions in areas such as financial reporting, audit and corporate governance, management accounting and management control, public sector accounting, accounting versus taxation,accounting information systems, environmental accounting, accounting education and research, challenges of the accounting profession.

The papers shall be submitted in English, according to the template available on the conference website. After the online registration, all the articles received will be subject of a double blind review process. No more than two papers as a single author or co-author shall be accepted for presentation.
